The Sugar Mamas were very honoured to do wedding favours for B&G who are getting married this upcoming weekend! They had a lovely and unique design that was a whole lot of fun to make into cookies!!

Busy bakers!

Long time no blog...we have been busy baking and decorating up a storm!

Have been doing lots of fun cookies and will hopefully get some photos uploaded soon.
We were happy to help our friends at Sisu Vitamins celebrate their 30th anniversary, and just finished a batch of cute onsie cookies for vancouvermom.ca to share as they honour Vancouver's top mommy bloggers! Way to go ladies!

With the weather warming up, keep us in mind for your summer events. Our cookies add that extra sweet touch to all sorts of occaisons such as:

Done!

Well it has been a very busy few weeks. We were more than a little suprised by the incredible responses we got to our Holiday Cookies, and are very thankful to everyone who helped make December such a successful month!
In three weeks we baked and hand decorated over 2000 cookies. Many were sent as Christmas presents or shared between friends, and some even made it across the globe! That's right, Sugar Mamas have gone international!

We have now hung up the oven mitts and put away the piping tips so we can enjoy some seasonal cheer of our own, but wish everyone a very happy holiday season and all the best for 2010. Check back in mid January for examples of what is in store for the new year, including samples for Chinese New Year and Valentines Day!

Cookies for our pals PALS!

The Sugar Mamas just finished a large batch of hand painted cookies for the Phoenix Academy of Learning Society to give as thank you favours at their open house on November 24th. They are a wonderful organization and we were very happy to be able to help them out!

Getting ready for the holiday season!

It's beginning to look a lot like...cookies! The holiday season is getting near and the Sugar Mamas have been busy baking and decorating cookies for our winter gift boxes! From shimmering snowflakes, to cute as can be mittens, there are plenty to choose from for that perfect hostess gift or just a lil treat for under the tree.

Happy Halloween!

This week was full of tricks and the ever important treats! A couple of orders for Halloween sweets had us making some spook-tacular ghosts and pumpkins - you could even have one of your own if you head to Jack & Lola in North Vancouver this weekend, where they are handing them out to customers!

Sweet success!

Well our first professional gig was quite the success!

After accepting an order for 250 hand decorated sugar cookie onesies from North Vancouver's Jack & Lola store anniversary, we spent quite a few hours mixing, icing, piping, bagging and tagging, but were extremely happy with the final results...and so were the customers! We even received an email from an out of town visitor who said it was, and I quote, the best cookie she had EVER had! Wow!
